For visiting the archive edition of Compass Online, The Yearly Magazine of Student Writing in English for Faculty of Policy Studies, Chuo University, Japan.

Compass Online was developed as an educational resource for students and teachers of English, and as an online publication for readers who want to know more about life in contemporary Japan.

The original Compass began in print in 1994, and web in 1998. The Archive Edition was established in 1999. It offers a representative sampling of Compass, featuring autobiography and travel writing, illustrations, poetry, cultural and research essays, and more. As a print publication, the Archive Edition would total over four hundred (400) pages and contain the work of over a hundred (100) contributors.

You can search by volume year, author, title, subject or keyword. You are also free to link to this site, and cite | quote | paraphrase the work published here in accordance with the guidelines for fair usage.
